Agree! You may want to do a few paid admission "attractions", but there are so many wonderful things to do and see in NYC to really soak up the vibe. Grand Central, The New York Public Library, gawk at Times Square at night, walk the Highline, explore Central Park, wander around Chinatown and grab some cheap eats, explore interesting neighborhoods on foot (e.g. Greenwich Village, etc.).

The only pass that I think is worth the money is the Explorer Pass (4 attractions/$88) that can be purchased through Costco and that's only if the attractions you want are included and you're not just picking 4 attractions from the available list.
It is true that you get really tired because you have to cover as many atrractions as you can. I added up all the tickets i saved plus dicounts at several restaurants and the total was 400 usd vs 150 usd for the new york 3 day pass. I think its worth it if you plan ahead, start your day from 8 am and finish around 12-1 am
Hi. We just used it for our 10 trip to Cancun 8n August. It was totally worth it! I did the 7 excursion Explorer pass. We did excursions I would have never done if I had to plan and buy each one individually. It was nice to show up and just have them scan our pass. Some tips.
Absolutely go see it, especially with children. Three of us adults went and although I was not really looking forward to it, I enjoyed it very much and would go again if I'm ever in NYC at Christmas time. Report inappropriate content.
